Story
Sibeal, a young female college student, lives a rather mundane life with her best friend, Carina. One day, Sibeal finds that her friend, Mani, is missing. Upon finding his apartment in ruins, Sibeal looks to her uncle for help. He realizes that her time has come and informs her that she descends from an ancient line of cryptid hunters known as Lorgaire. To save her friend, Sibeal must revive her family’s legacy to hunt down a werewolf that’s taken him before it’s too late.
Director's Statement
"Hey everyone! My name is Meghan McCullin and I'm a 22-year-old filmmaker! I've independently produced and directed over sixteen short films; and I'm currently in the post-production phase of my first feature-length horror film, Saudade. I've never let a lack of resources stop me from achieving my goals, which has made me a very resourceful filmmaker over the years. One thing I've learned while making independent films is that it is far from easy and things will often go wrong, but you have to roll with the punches. I'm still learning and growing with every new project, but I love what I do and my biggest hope is that the films I make will make someone else feel passionate about their own dreams too!

I have a huge passion for fantasy, thanks to my younger brother for introducing me to films such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. It was the tabletop game, Dungeons & Dragons, that brought us closer together as siblings, and that's why I'm so excited to bring the world of Lorgaire to life on screen. Lorgaire is personal to me because I get to include elements from my own heritage being of Irish descent. This is a project that I'm highly passionate about because it combines elements of fantasy and Celtic culture in a way that's fun and relevant for new audiences. My brother and I have worked hard together creating the world and all the background for this film, so stay tuned to see some of that on this site as well as updates on production. My team and I hope that you enjoy the final film as much as we've enjoyed creating it, so get ready and let the Legacy begin!"
